The purpose of the Dipstick is to measure the amount of oil available to your engine to ensure there is a sufficient level to protect critical components during operation. Many oil tank caps have a dipstick built-in to most accurately measure the oil level prior to operation or when removing and adding oil during regular maintenance. The exact amount of oil needed differs by equipment, so it is recommended to purchase replacement dipsticks from a genuine OEM original parts dealer, like us.
