The Fuel Tank is the specialized compartment on your equipment designed to safely hold straight fuel or a fuel and oil mixture. Fuel Tanks are typically made of a chemical-resistant molded plastic. Over time, especially if subjected to impacts or weather extremes, the Fuel Tank plastic can begin to deteriorate and may crack or start to leak at the seams, grommets, or valves. Always be sure to use the proper fuel mix, and empty out the tank from time to time to remove debris and improve engine performance.
